6. Shān

Shān is the third of the Three Powers, which is the power of sentient life, or Nobility. The hieroglyph was a person with a headdress, symbolising royal power, or the power of a genera. It symbolises the power of sentient life, such as nobility and rank. It is the embodiment of the heights of power (both good and bad) that a sentient bipedal humanoid-like person can attain. In other words it is physical and/or material perfection.

Without any diacritic marks the base pronunciation of this symbol is “sha”.
